Empowering Visionaires

The Challenge

After 37 years of outstanding service to African American MBAs the NBMBAA was looking for a fresh brand message to encapsulate the organization's purpose and programming to both its members and corporate partners.

The Solution

Empowering Visionaries through the Five Channels of Success. We helped the NBMBAA understand its value proposition by creating two messaging concepts that helped define its mission and service offerings to members and corporate partners.

  1. The first was 5 channels of engagement; Education, Career, Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Lifestyle, as a journey that every MBA must take to achieve success. The 5 Channels also provided differentiated opportunities for multiple sponsors.
  2. In 2007 we have launched the brand campaign "Empowering Visionaries." A visionary movement in which all African American MBAs have been called to take charge of their dreams as the MBA lays the way for them to reach them. In addition to strengthening branding messages we have also helped increase revenue for the National Conference. In 2005, we helped the NBMBAA raise 1.5 million in additional conference dollars. Then again in 2006, the NBMBAA raised 4.5 million for their national conference.
